The Advanced Comparative Islamic Studies Program at Usul Academy is a rigorous two years MA program designed for those pursuing more in-depth and specialized research in the field of Islamic Studies and Comparative Social Sciences.
English and Arabic proficiency are both required to be enrolled in the Advanced Studies program. In Arabic level B2/Advanced Mid according to ACTFL Standards or equivalent is needed to pursue the degree. Students are encouraged to upload proof of Arabic proficiency in the form of a certificate, transcript or diploma in the Arabic language if available. All students will undergo an Arabic proficiency assessment.
For students not previously enrolled in an English-speaking institution, a TOEFL certificate or equivalent is required.
